Rapture High 6

"Zacky... why did you run away?" Arin asked as I sat eating my food. I had a nice long shower and now was eating a well cooked meal. I looked up at Arin.

"I can't stand been left in the dark," I replied

"What do you mean?"  Arin replied. I looked at him and sighed.

"The ghosts, the creepy going on and the forest covered in snow... it's summer for fuck sake," I replied. "I just feel like there's a big secret and I'm not allow to know what it is,"

"Zacky, it's for your own good," Arin replied. I glared at him.

"Whatever... I'm gonna find out... one way or another," I replied, before finishing the meal. "I'm going to my room,"

"Ok... good night Zacky," He replied, as I got up. "Oh I've put some spare clothes on your bed,"

"Thanks," I replied, walking out. Well may have said I was going to bed but I'm not. Instead I went to the library. I walked round and found that I was the only person there. I sighed and walked over to the shelves and started to look for books that might hold the secrets to this place. I took down several books and read through them. Title after title. I yawned as I continued to read. My eyes were dropping but it's not like there's anyone here so I rest my head on the book and closed my eyes.

~Time Skip~

"Hey!" I groaned as someone shook me. "Time to wake up,"

"Hmm..." I slowly opened my eyes and looked up, only to be greeted by the tallest guy I'd ever seen. He has crow nest, black hair, dressed in just black skinny jeans and a tie, pale skin and the brightest blue eyes I had ever seen.

"Hey there, sleeping beauty," He smiled, in a kind yet insane way. I sat up and rubbed my eyes sleepily. "You should go to your room... sleeping on books isn't that comfortable,"

"W-who are you?"

"Oh my bad... I'm the Rev... head of the house of plague,"

"Wait what?" I asked, confused.

"No one told you about the four houses?!" He gasped, shocked. I shook my head and looked at him.

"No one tells me anything," I replied, looking at him. He sighed and sat down.

"Ok, kid," He smiled. "There's four houses... my house... which for the truly insane...known as the house of Plague... House of Shadows for the sporty jock types, house of Syn for the emos... and House of Christ for the underdogs..."

"Wow... so why aren't I in a house?"

"Because there's huge big different between us and you,"

"Oh and what's that?"

"You're human," He smiled, then he walked away. I got up.

"What the hell does that mean?"

"Guess!!"

"But you're human... right?"

"Nope,"

"Oh come on!!" I sighed. He turned round. "Just tell me please,"

"You won't like the truth, Zacky,"

"How did you know my name?" I asked. I'm sure I didn't tell him.

"I read your mind,"

"Oh kay," I replied, not believing him. I jumped as he was suddenly in front of me.

"Such a sad past," He sighed, moving my hair from my face. I looked at him then pulled away.

"Just tell me," I looked at him. His lips curved into a smile.

"I'm a demon, kid,"

"What? Demons don't exist... right?"

"Of course we do... now run along before you get into more trouble... you're not meant to know anything,"

"So why did you just tell me?"

"Well let's just say I just put a spanner in the works... gave you a choice.." He cackled, before walking to the other door. The door I hadn't been through. He smirked playfully as he looked at me then he opened the door. "You can go back to your room, forgot everything or try to... or you could come and play with the truth... it's your choice... see ya around Zacky,"

"Wait!" I yelled as he walked through. I bit my lip then ran over to the door and opened it. There was nothing but complete darkness. "Rev?"

"Come and play, Zacky..." His voice cackled in the distance. I bit my lip then stepped into the darkness.
