Zacky's POV
I sighed as I did up my tie. Today was the 1st of September. I had been in the school for about a month and now the real lessons were about to begin as it's now officially term time but that's not why I was wearing a tie. No today was my dad's death day and I was going to visit his grave. I had asked Arin to ask the headmaster if I could take the day off and visit my dad's grave. The headmaster, who ever he is, had arranged transport to take me there. I jumped as someone knocked on my door. I walked over and opened it, to reveal Jimmy.
"Hi," He grinned wildly. "I was thinking we could hang out today!"
"Um not today, Jimmy," I replied, sadly. He frowned.
"Zee, are you ok? Why are you wearing smart clothing?" He asked. I walked out and closed the door.
"I'm visiting my dad's grave," I replied. He looked shocked.
"Oh Zee, I'm sorry I didn't know," He replied. I looked at him.
"It's ok," I replied. "I didn't tell you..."
"Well... um... let me know when you want to hang out, ok?" He smiled, before hugging me. I hugged back then walked outside. I walked to the front entrance where a horse drawn cart was waiting for me. I smiled a little as I knew my dad would think it was cool. The horse was all black with black feathers on their heads, just like a Victorian funeral carriage. I walked over and the door opened by itself. Before that would have freaked me out but I'm getting use to the weird things. I find a strange comfort in them. I got in and sat down then the horses pulled the cart. I sighed as I thought about my dad. I really miss him.
"I'm sure he misses you too..."
"Yeah," I smiled, looking up at the veil ghost. "You haven't been around for a while,"
"You missed me?"
"Don't get cocky," I replied, rising an eyebrow. He chuckled. "Are you even a ghost?"
"More like a memory but that's all ghosts are... memories of the past,"
"You sound sad," I replied.
"Wouldn't you be if you were a ghost?" He asked, sadly. I frowned as the carriage pulled up. The door opened and I got out. I looked around and saw it was the graveyard. I walked over to the flower store.
"Oh my, Zachary, haven't you grown up?" Mrs Clover smiled. "It's been a while since you've been here,"
"I hadn't the chance but I'm here now," I smiled.
"The usual?" She smiled. I know and she gave me a bunch of pink Carnations, white Lilies and a whole load of Forget-Me-Nots. I smiled and went to paid her. "On the house, Zachary,"
"Thanks, Mrs Clover," I smiled, before walking over to my dad's grave. I put down the flowers and tied it up, chucking away the dead ones before replacing them with the fresh bunch. "Hi Dad... sorry I haven't been to visit you in a while... Benny wouldn't let me... but I'm here now,"
I gently touched the grave then kissed it.
"I miss you Dad," I whispered as tears fell. "I'm so s-sorry,"
I cried for a little while then I wiped my tears away.
"I g-got to a new school now... Rapture High... I've actually made friends... Jimmy... he's insane but he's really nice... but I haven't told him about the past... I'm not sure how he would react..." I sighed. "Anyway, Dad, I'll try and visit you more often now that Benny's gone,"
I kissed the headstone again then got up.
"I love you, Dad," I sighed then I walked back to the carriage.

"Syn?!" I gasped as he was laid on my bed reading a book. He smirked and looked up.
"Oh don't you look smart," He winked, before putting the book down. I glared and closed my door.
"What do you want?"
"I thought of what you can do for me," He replied. I sighed.
"Name it," I replied.
"You can join my house... or you can get some dirt on some people for me... your choice,"
"Who would be the people I get "dirt" on?" I asked. He smirked.
"The Rev, M. Shadows and Johnny Christ," He replied.
"The other two fine but not Jimmy," I replied, grabbing my book and putting it away.
"No deal," He smirked, laying back down on my bed. I glared at him.
"Fine... I'll see what I can find,"
"Use that gift of yours," He replied. I glared at him even more. "Oh and one last thing..."
"What?"
"I want to take you out on a date,"
"WHAT?!"
"So be ready by 8 o'clock," He smirked, getting up.
"Whoa! I didn't agree to a date,"
"You owe me," He reminded me. I glared. "So tomorrow at 8... later, Zacky,"
"Fuck you,"
"Nah, I'll fuck you though," He winked before leaving my room. I couldn't help but blush. I mean he is really cute... oh god I did not just think that. He's a cocky, arrogant asshole... with an amazing jaw line and gorgeous brown eyes. I should not be feeling like this. I groaned and flopped on my bed then breathed in. It smelt like him.
"Fuck!"

Syn is definitely confident, asking Zacky out n a date, he must be very proud to know he was the first to do so
